PENN Slammer IV SW Reels

The PENN Slammer IV spinning reel is designed for the most demanding anglers and fishing conditions.

It features a number of upgrades over previous models, including:

• An improved IPX6 rated body and spool design with additional seals for even better water resistance.
• CNC Gear Technology with brass main and pinion gear for unmatched durability and performance.
• An 8+1 Sealed Stainless Steel Ball Bearing System with an additional bearing to support the spool under heavy drag loads for smooth and effortless operation.
• A hydrophobic line roller bearing to repel saltwater and corrosion.
• A reduced rotor weight for smoother operation and less fatigue.
• A sealed Slammer® drag system with Dura-Drag™ carbon fiber washers (sizes 3500-10500) or HT-100™ carbon fiber drag washers (size 2500 only) for powerful and consistent drag performance.
• A full metal body, side plate, and rotor to eliminate any flex in the frame for sizes 3500-10500, or a full metal body and side plate with graphite rotor to reduce weight for size 2500 only.
• A machined aluminum power knob and spare EVA knob across the range (excluding 2500 size which has an EVA knob only).
• Automatic bail trip on sizes 2500-5500 and manual bail trip on sizes 6500-10500.
