KORDA LONG SHANK X HOOKS

The Korda Longshank X Hook is a modern, superior version of one of carp fishing’s original and most effective patterns. Based on popular fly hook designs, this pattern found favour with early carp anglers due to its exceptional shape and innate hooking ability, but the Longshank X is significantly stronger and sharper than the original.

This classic style remains highly effective with all modern rigs, thanks to its defining geometry: a 20-degree in-turned eye, a distinctive long shank, and a straight point. This combination ensures the hook flips over quickly and secures a hold very easily, guaranteeing consistently good hook-holds. The Longshank X is also designed for resilience; the forging on the bend and the robust gauge of wire used make it incredibly strong, enabling it to stand up to the demands of snaggy and weedy waters. Each packet contains ten hooks.
