The Korda Krank B Hook is the highly successful barbless version of the revolutionary Krank pattern, originally designed by Tom Dove. The Krank B maintains the distinct geometry that makes the pattern so effective: a very wide gape, a short, curved shank, and a slightly in-turned eye that accentuates the flipping effect. The key to its performance is the slightly beaked, offset point. This offset helps the hook to ‘Krank’ (turn) aggressively upon resistance, driving the point home securely even without a barb.
